THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR MIDDLE TENNESSEE.
.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT
A WIND ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT TODAY FOR THE CUMBERLAND PLATEAU.
STRONG SOUTHERLY WINDS OF 20 TO 30 MPH CAN BE EXPECTED ALONG WITH
GUSTS UP TO 40 MPH. THE GREATEST THREAT FOR THESE STRONG WINDS WILL
BE FROM 12 NOON TO 6:00 PM AND FOR ELEVATIONS ABOVE 1500 FEET.
MOTORISTS IN HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES SHOULD USE EXTRA CAUTION ON
ROADWAYS. HAVE A FIRM GRIP ON THE STEERING WHEEL. ALSO...SHALLOW
ROOTED TREES MAY FALL ON POWER LINES AND CAUSE SCATTERED POWER
OUTAGES.
A LAKE WIND ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT TODAY FOR THE REST OF MIDDLE
TENNESSEE. WINDS SPEEDS WILL BE FROM 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO
35 MPH. BOATERS CAN EXPECT ROUGH CONDITIONS ON AREA LAKES.

NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.
