SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL LINGER AT LEAST THROUGH MID
EVENING OVER SOME AREAS OF MIDDLE TENNESSEE. AT 820 PM, THE STRONGEST
CELLS WERE LOCATED BETWEEN COLUMBIA AND EAGLEVILLE, WITH LIGHTER
ACTIVITY OCCURRING AROUND SMYRNA, GLADEVILLE, AND GORDONSVILLE. THIS
ACTIVITY IS MOVING VERY SLOWLY EASTWARD, AND ALTHOUGH IT IS SLOWLY
WEAKENING, SOME PLACES MAY STILL RECEIVE HEAVY RAINFALL. IN EXTREME
NORTHEAST MAURY COUNTY, RADAR ESTIMATES INDICATE THAT MORE THAN AN
INCH OF RAIN HAS FALLEN WITHIN THE PAST HOUR IN SOME SPOTS.
