AT 430 PM...A CLUSTER OF STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WAS LOCATED
ACROSS THE NORTHERN CUMBERLAND PLATEAU REGION OF MIDDLE TENNESSEE.
THE STORMS WERE AFFECTING AREAS NEAR BYRDSTOWN...JAMESTOWN...
CROSSVILLE...SPARTA...SMITHVILLE...AND WOODBURY. THE CLUSTER WAS
MOVING EAST AT 25 TO 30 MPH AND HAVE A HISTORY OF PRODUCING DAMAGING
WINDS AND LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN. THROUGH 6 PM...PERSONS IN THE NORTHERN
PLATEAU AREA SHOULD STAY ALERT FOR THESE DANGEROUS THUNDERSTORMS AND
PONDING OF WATER FROM LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN.
