...A RIVER FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR PORTIONS OF THE TENNESSEE RIVER...
AFFECTING THESE COUNTIES IN MIDDLE TENNESSEE: HARDIN.
TENNESSEE RIVER AT SAVANNAH...
* FLOOD STAGE: 381.0 FEET.
* LATEST STAGE: 390.1 FEET AND NEARLY STEADY AT MIDNIGHT.
* RIVER FORECAST:
* FLOOD CATEGORY: MODERATE FLOODING IS OCCURRING.
AT THESE LEVELS...RIVER ACCESS ROADS WILL BE IMPASSABLE. MANY HOMES AND
BUSINESSES ALONG THE RIVER WILL HAVE TO BE EVACUATED.. THIS CREST COMPARES TO A
PREVIOUS CREST OF 390.7 FEET WHICH OCCURRED MAY 12 2003.
PERSONS LIVING ALONG THE RIVER AND THOSE WITH RIVER INTERESTS SHOULD CONTINUE TO
MONITOR WATER LEVELS. MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.
