THROUGH 1145 PM...A LARGE AREA OF SCATTERED RAIN SHOWERS AND ISOLATED
THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE INTO WESTERN MIDDLE TENNESSEE.
MOST OF THE ACTIVITY WILL OCCUR ALONG THE TENNESSEE RIVER AND WEST
OF INTERSTATE 65. THIS LARGE AREA OF PRECIPITATION EXTENDS FROM THE
MID STATE BACK TO SOUTHEAST TEXAS. A FLOOD WATCH FOR THE SOUTHERN
COUNTIES WILL BE VALID FROM MIDNIGHT UNTIL 400 PM THURSDAY
AFTERNOON. A FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT CONDITIONS ARE FAVORABLE FOR
FLOODING OF STREAMS...CREEKS AND OTHER FLOOD PRONE AREAS. IF YOU ARE
IN THE WATCH AREA...CHECK PREPAREDNESS REQUIREMENTS...KEEP
INFORMED...AND BE READY FOR ACTION IF FLOODING IS OBSERVED OR IF A
FLOOD WARNING IS ISSUED.
