FOR THE TENNESSEE RIVER...
AFFECTING THESE COUNTIES IN MIDDLE TENNESSEE: HARDIN.
TENNESSEE RIVER AT SAVANNAH...
* FLOOD STAGE: 381.0 FEET.
* LATEST STAGE: 384.0 FEET AND RISING AT 9 AM WEDNESDAY.
* RIVER FORECAST: FORECAST TO RISE AND CREST NEAR 388.3 AT NOON FRIDAY.
* FLOOD CATEGORY: THESE LEVELS WILL PRODUCE MODERATE FLOODING.
AT THESE LEVELS...EXTENSIVE FLOODING OF RIVER BOTTOMLAND OCCURS AND SEVERAL
ACCESS ROADS ALONG THE RIVER NEAR SAVANNAH ARE CLOSED DUE TO FLOOD WATER.
IF POSSIBLE...AVOID THE RIVER. MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS AND
REMEMBER...NEVER DRIVE THROUGH WATER OF UNKNOWN DEPTH. TURN AROUND...DON'T
