NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE NASHVILLE TN
350 AM CST TUE DEC 7 2004
THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS CANCELLED THE FLOOD WATCH FOR
MIDDLE TENNESSEE. THE SHOWERS WERE EXITING THE CUMBERLAND PLATEAU
AND WERE MOVING INTO EAST TENNESSEE.
EVEN THOUGH THE RAINS HAVE ENDED...LOCALIZED FLOODING STILL EXISTS ON
RURAL AREA ROADWAYS.
MOST AREAS IN MIDDLE TENNESSEE RECEIVED 1 TO 2 INCHES OF RAIN FROM
THIS STORM EVENT BEGINNING SUNDAY AFTERNOON. WAYNE...GILES...AND
LAWRENCE COUNTIES RECEIVED 3 TO 4 INCHES...WITH POCKETS OF 4 TO 5
INCHES IN LAWRENCE AND GILES COUNTY FOR THIS STORM EVENT SINCE
SUNDAY.
