...A RIVER FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR PORTIONS OF THE HARPETH RIVER...
AFFECTING THESE COUNTIES IN MIDDLE TENNESSEE: CHEATHAM.
HARPETH RIVER NEAR KINGSTON SPRINGS...
* FLOOD STAGE: 15 FEET.
* LATEST STAGE: 15.9 FEET AND FALLING AT 9 AM.
* RIVER FORECAST: FORECAST TO FALL BELOW FLOOD STAGE THIS AFTERNOON.
* FLOOD CATEGORY: MINOR FLOODING IS OCCURRING.
AT THESE LEVELS...THE RIVER OVERFLOWS THE LEFT BANK AND FLOODS BOTTOMLAND.
SEVERAL SECONDARY ROADS NEAR THE RIVER ARE CUT OFF.
PERSONS LIVING ALONG THE HARPETH RIVER AND THOSE WITH RIVER INTERESTS SHOULD CONTINUE TO
MONITOR WATER LEVELS. IF YOU APPROACH A WATER COVERED ROAD, TURN AROUND, DON'T DROWN.
