...A RIVER FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR PORTIONS OF THE DUCK RIVER...
AFFECTING THESE COUNTIES IN MIDDLE TENNESSEE: HICKMAN.
DUCK RIVER AT CENTERVILLE...
* FLOOD STAGE: 22 FEET.
* LATEST STAGE: 26.2 FEET AND RISING AT 130 PM.
* RIVER FORECAST: FORECAST TO CREST NEAR 30 FEET THURSDAY AFTERNOON.
* FLOOD CATEGORY: THESE LEVELS WILL PRODUCE MODERATE FLOODING.
AT THESE LEVELS...ALL AREAS ALONG THE DUCK RIVER NEAR CENTERVILLE ARE COVERED
BY FLOOD WATERS. DEFEATED CREEK, BEARS CREEK, SWAN CREEK, LOWES BEND, AND
HORSE BRANCH CREEK WILL BE FLOODED DUE TO BACKWATER. MANY ROADS NEAR THE
RIVER WILL BE IMPASSABLE DUE TO HIGH WATER.
PERSONS LIVING ALONG THE DUCK RIVER AND THOSE WITH RIVER INTERESTS SHOULD CONTINUE TO
MONITOR WATER LEVELS. MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. REMEMBER...NEVER DRIVE
THROUGH WATER OF UNKNOWN DEPTH. IF YOU APPROACH A WATER COVERED ROAD, TURN AROUND,
DON'T DROWN.
