Tropical Weather Outlook
NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL
200 AM EDT Fri Oct 29 2021

For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:

Showers and thunderstorms associated with a strong low pressure
system located a few hundred miles south-southwest of Cape Race,
Newfoundland, continue to show some signs of organization. However,
the low is still attached to a front and therefore remains
nontropical. The low is expected to move eastward and then
southeastward toward slightly warmer warmers during the next few
days, and it could lose its associated fronts and acquire some
subtropical characteristics over the weekend or early next week
while over the central Atlantic. For more information on this
system, including gale warnings, see High Seas Forecasts issued by
the National Weather Service.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...20 percent.
* Formation chance through 5 days...low...30 percent.
