...TROPICAL DEPRESSION 06W CONTINUING AWAY FROM THE MARIANAS...

.NEW INFORMATION...
All tropical storm warnings and watches have been discontinued.

.AREAS AFFECTED...
This local statement provides updated information and recommended
actions for people in Guam and Rota.

.Watches/Warnings...
Tropical cyclone watches and warnings are no longer in effect
anywhere across the Marianas and surrounding waters.

A Flash Flood Watch remains in effect for all of Guam and the
Northern Marianas. Please listen closely for any flood warnings that
might be issued for your area.

Please check the latest public and marine forecasts for detailed
information about additional hazards.

.STORM INFORMATION...
At 10 AM ChST...the center of Tropical Depression 06W was located
near Latitude 13.3N...Longitude 143.4E. This was about 95 miles west
OF Guam. TD 06W was moving NW at 14 mph with maximum sustained winds
of 35 mph.

.SITUATION OVERVIEW...
TD 06W continues to move away from the Marianas and is no longer
expected to pose any direct threats to the islands. However, bands of
heavy showers and gusty winds east of 06W will continue to move
through the islands through late this afternoon.

.PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Damaging winds are no longer expected, but gusty southeast winds will
continue through the day. Seas, surf, and winds continue to subside,
but will be hazardous for small craft through at least this evening,
with surf remaining hazardous through at least this afternoon for
Guam and Rota.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Damaging winds are no longer expected, but gusty southeast winds will
continue through the day. Winds will remain hazardous for small craft
so small craft should remain in port until conditions improve.

...Winds...
Southeast winds will gradually subside this afternoon and tonight,
but will remain between 15 and 20 mph with occasionally higher gusts
with passing showers.

...Storm surge and storm tide...
Buoys show seas steadily subsiding. Seas have fallen below hazardous
levels of 10 feet. As a result, surf continues to fall but will
remain hazardous at 7 to 9 feet along south facing reefs through at
least this afternoon. Minor inundation is no longer expected.

...Inland flooding...
A flash flood watch remains in effect. Heavy showers will
periodically pass over the island today, possibly dumping an
additional 1 to 2 inches of rain.
