**Tropical Storm Eta will exit Northeast Florida around Midday**

NEW INFORMATION

* CHANGES TO WATCHES AND WARNINGS:
    - All watches and warnings have been canceled

* CURRENT WATCHES AND WARNINGS:
    - None

* STORM INFORMATION:
    - About 80 miles north-northwest of Daytona Beach FL or about 120
      miles north-northwest of Orlando FL
    - 30.2N 81.8W
    - Storm Intensity 45 mph
    - Movement North-northeast or 30 degrees at 15 mph

SITUATION OVERVIEW
------------------

The broad center of weakening Tropical Storm Eta, centered northeast of
Gainesville will accelerate northeastward while moving offshore the
northeast Florida coast early this afternoon.

The strongest winds associated with Eta will remain north of central
Florida, however breezy conditions are expected areawide, with
sustained winds at or near 20 mph, and gusty in showers.

Bands of scattered showers and a few lightning storm are expected to
redevelop through this afternoon, and some of these may contain gusty
winds and briefly heavy rainfall.

Additional rainfall totals of one half to one inch, with local amounts
of 2 inches, are possible in areas which may receive multiple
rounds of showers, or an isolated storm the remainder of today. The
highest rainfall amounts are expected north of Interstate 4.

Over the Atlantic waters, rip currents along with a strong northward
flowing longshore current will remain present. Seas of 6 to 8 feet are
forecast over the offshore Atlantic waters, subsiding to 4 to 6 feet
by late tonight.

POTENTIAL IMPACTS

* WIND: No direct impacts are anticipated at this time
across East Central Florida.

* EVACUATIONS:
Evacuations are not expected.

* OTHER PREPAREDNESS INFORMATION:

Do not go up on your roof until the weather conditions are safe.
Ladders can be slippery in the rain and unexpected wind gusts can
blow you off the roof.

When clearing out fallen trees, be careful with chainsaws and axes.
Always wear protective gear and keep others at a safe distance.
Leaning trees and those which have fallen on roofs or power lines can
be especially dangerous. If you are not in good health or unsure
about what you are doing, have someone with tree cutting experience
do the job. Never cut trees without a partner.
