* CHANGES TO WATCHES AND WARNINGS:
    - All watches and warnings have been canceled for SE Texas

* CURRENT WATCHES AND WARNINGS:
    - None

* STORM INFORMATION:
    - About 270 miles southwest of Galveston TX or about 180 miles
      southwest of Matagorda TX
    - 26.6N 98.0W
    - Storm Intensity 75 mph
    - Movement West-southwest or 250 degrees at 9 mph

SITUATION OVERVIEW
------------------

Category 1 Hurricane Hanna has moved inland along the Central and
Lower Texas Coast. Weakening is expected as the center of Hanna
continues to move farther inland over southern Texas tonight and move
into northeastern Mexico on Sunday.

Locally, strong winds and high seas will gradually subside tonight but
will likely continue to produce dangerous marine conditions across the
bays and Gulf waters as well as hazardous beach conditions through
Sunday. At the coast, seas and elevated tides will combine and lead to
minor coastal flooding. Inland, outer rainbands generated from Hanna
will move into Southeast Texas from time to time tonight and may result
in flooding rains along the coasts and southernmost counties.

All tropical watches and warnings have been canceled for Southeast
Texas, however, Coastal Flood Warnings, the Flash Flood Watch and Small
Craft Advisories remain in effect tonight.


POTENTIAL IMPACTS
-----------------

* WIND:
Little to no additional wind impacts expected.

* SURGE:
Little to no additional surge impacts expected.

* FLOODING RAIN:
Additional impacts from flooding rain are still a concern across the
Southeast Texas Coastal Plain. Remain well guarded against dangerous
flood waters having further impacts of significant potential.

* TORNADOES:
Little to no impacts are anticipated at this time across Southeast
Texas.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS
----------------------------------

* OTHER PREPAREDNESS INFORMATION:
Do not go sightseeing within impacted communities. Sightseers interfere
with the emergency work of first responders.

Be alert for any lingering wind gusts which could take down weakened
trees and/or power lines, collapse damaged structures, or cause
flying debris.

Do not drive through places where flood waters cover the road. Turn
around, don't drown!
