* CHANGES TO WATCHES AND WARNINGS:
    - The Tropical Storm Watch has been cancelled for Coastal
      Volusia, Indian River, Martin, Northern Brevard, Southern
      Brevard, and St. Lucie

* CURRENT WATCHES AND WARNINGS:
    - None

* STORM INFORMATION:
    - About 380 miles east-southeast of Cape Canaveral FL or about
      330 miles east-southeast of Stuart FL
    - 25.6N 75.2W
    - Storm Intensity 40 mph
    - Movement Northwest or 320 degrees at 6 mph

SITUATION OVERVIEW
------------------

Tropical Depression 9 has been upgraded to Tropical Storm Humberto
at 11 pm EDT. Tropical Storm Humberto is forecast to move northwest
through Saturday and then move north-northwest Saturday night well
offshore of the east central Florida coast and then move northward
well offshore from Volusia county on Sunday.

With the expected offshore track of Tropical Storm Humberto all
Tropical Storm Watches along the east central Florida coast have been
discontinued at 11 pm EDT.

Breezy to windy conditions can be expected along the coast Saturday,
Saturday night and Sunday morning as the Tropical Storm makes it
closest approach to east central Florida over 100 miles offshore.
Passing showers and squalls on the west side of Humberto may affect
coastal areas Saturday and Saturday night with some gusts to 40 to
45 mph in any heavier showers.

Localized rainfall amounts of one to three inches are possible mainly
near the east coast through Sunday.

Conditions along the immediate coast, including the beaches and surf
are expected to deteriorate this weekend. The surf is expected to
become increasingly rough with large breaking waves, and additional
minor to moderate beach erosion around the times of high tide through
early Sunday morning. The threat for numerous strong and potentially
deadly Rip Currents will remain high through this weekend.

The next high three tide cycles will occur along the Florida east
coast between 845 AM and 900 AM Saturday morning, and between 900 PM
and 915 PM Saturday night.

POTENTIAL IMPACTS

* WIND:
Breezy to windy conditions will occur across portions of east central
Florida as Humberto passes offshore this weekend. Gusty winds to 40 to
45 mph may occur with heavier passing showers, mainly along the east
coast.

* FLOODING RAIN:
The threat for flooding rainfall has diminished across east central
Florida. Some locally heavy rain may still occur near the coast this
weekend with total rainfall accumulations of 1 to 3 inches expected.
