Tropical Weather Outlook

For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:

The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on recently
upgraded Tropical Storm Michael, located over the northwest
Caribbean Sea near the coast of the Yucatan Peninsula, and on
Tropical Storm Leslie, located over the central Atlantic Ocean.

A broad non-tropical low pressure system located a few hundred miles
south of the Azores continues to produce a large area of
disorganized showers and thunderstorms, mainly to the north and east
of its center. This system could gradually acquire subtropical or
tropical characteristics over the next day or two while it moves
slowly eastward. By Tuesday, environmental conditions are expected
to become unfavorable for further development to occur. Additional
information on this system can be found in high seas forecasts
issued by Meteo France.
