**Tropical Storm Warning Cancelled as Irma weakens...
but gusty winds and 2 to 3 inches of rainfall still expected**

* CHANGES TO WATCHES AND WARNINGS:
    - All watches and warnings have been canceled

* CURRENT WATCHES AND WARNINGS:
    - None

* STORM INFORMATION:
    - About 460 miles south-southeast of Huntsville AL
    - 28.9N 82.6W
    - Storm Intensity 75 mph
    - Movement North-northwest or 340 degrees at 18 mph

SITUATION OVERVIEW
------------------

Hurricane Irma has weakend to a category 1 hurricane over central
Florida and will continue to weaken as it moves northwest. It is
expected to weaken to a tropical storm later this morning over southern
Georgia/Alabama. As it arrives over the Tennessee Valley late this
evening into Tuesday morning, it is expected to weaken to a tropical
depression spreading 2 to 3 inches of rainfall with isolated amounts
up to 4 inches across the area. Winds are also expected to be between
20 to 25 MPH with higher gusts up to 40 to 45 MPH. Since the forecast
winds are expected to be below tropical storm force, have cancelled the
tropical storm warnings and replaced with a wind advisory in effect
from 3 PM this afternoon through early Tuesday morning.

POTENTIAL IMPACTS

* WIND:
Little to no impacts are anticipated at this time across the Tennessee
Valley.

* FLOODING RAIN:
Additional impacts from flooding rain are still a concern across The
Tennessee Valley. Remain well guarded against locally hazardous flood
waters having further impacts of limited potential.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS
----------------------------------

* EVACUATIONS: No evacuations in effect.

* OTHER PREPAREDNESS INFORMATION:

Gusty winds may cause damage to trees and power lines beginning late
this afternoon through early Tuesday morning. Secure all unsecured
lightweight objects as these could be blown about by the wind. Any high
profile vehicles traveling over roadways in higher elevations may also
be susceptible to being blown over.
