**TROPICAL STORM HARVEY CONTINUES TO MOVE AWAY FROM MIDDLE TEXAS
COAST**

NEW INFORMATION
---------------

* CHANGES TO WATCHES AND WARNINGS:
    - None

* CURRENT WATCHES AND WARNINGS:
    - A Tropical Storm Warning is in effect for Calhoun

* STORM INFORMATION:
    - About 70 miles east-southeast of Port O'Connor TX
    - 28.2N 95.3W
    - Storm Intensity 45 mph
    - Movement East-southeast or 120 degrees at 3 mph

SITUATION OVERVIEW
------------------

Tropical Storm Harvey will continue to move east-southeast over the
coastal waters of the Upper Texas coast tonight. The track of Harvey
is expected shift more northeastward away from South Texas and the
Middle Texas coastal waters on Tuesday. Harvey will continue to impact
South Texas and adjacent coastal waters through Tuesday morning. The
primary concern now with Harvey will be tropical storm force winds and
wind gusts, mainly over the bays and Gulf waters.

The flooding rain threat is slowly decreasing. Although there is still
a possibility for an additional 1/2 to 1 inches of rainfall due to
Harvey through Tuesday, the flooding concerns have greatly diminished
and isolated and nuisance flooding is now only expected.

POTENTIAL IMPACTS
-----------------

* WIND:
Potential impacts from the main wind event are now unfolding across
Coastal Waters north of Rockport and Calhoun County. Remain well
sheltered from hazardous wind having possible impacts. If realized,
these impacts include:
    - Damage to porches, awnings, carports, sheds, and unanchored
      mobile homes. Unsecured lightweight objects blown about.
    - Many large tree limbs broken off. A few trees snapped or
      uprooted, but with greater numbers in places where trees are
      shallow rooted. Some fences and roadway signs blown over.
    - A few roads impassable from debris, particularly within urban
      or heavily wooded places. Hazardous driving conditions on
      bridges and other elevated roadways.
    - Scattered power and communications outages.

Elsewhere across SOUTH TEXAS, little to no impact is anticipated.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS
----------------------------------

* EVACUATIONS:
Do not return to evacuated areas until hazardous winds diminish and
flood waters abate.

Do not return to evacuated areas until it is safe. Listen for the all-
clear signal from local authorities.

* OTHER PREPAREDNESS INFORMATION:
Continue to keep your cell phone well charged for as long as possible.
If you lose power, use it more sparingly and mainly for personal
emergencies and check-ins. Do not overload communications systems with
idle chatter.

Do not be a thrill seeker or risk your life for senseless photos or
videos. Be wise and avoid becoming another statistic.
