    - MOVEMENT WEST OR 265 DEGREES AT 7 MPH

SITUATION OVERVIEW
------------------

ALL COASTAL TROPICAL STORM WARNINGS ARE DISCONTINUED. GUSTY WINDS,
HIGH SEAS, ROUGH SURF, AND ELEVATED WATER LEVELS SHOULD GRADUALLY
DIMINISH OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS.

POTENTIAL IMPACTS
-----------------

* SURGE:
THE GROUND WILL REMAIN LARGELY UNAFFECTED BY SURGE, OR ONLY HAVE
SPOTS MINIMALLY AFFECTED BY SURGE IN THE USUAL FLOOD PRONE AREAS
ALONG THE SOUTH SHORE OF NASSAU AND WESTERN SUFFOLK COUNTIES.

* OTHER COASTAL HAZARDS:
LARGE WAVES GENERATED BY HERMINE WILL CAUSE ROUGH SURF, A HIGH
RIP CURRENT RISK, AND BEACH EROSION FOR ANOTHER COUPLE OF DAYS.

STAY AWAY FROM ANY DOWNED POWER LINES, AND BE CAREFUL WHEN
CLEARING OUT ANY DOWNED TREES OR LARGE TREE LIMBS.
