11 PM HST ADVISORY FROM THE CENTRAL PACIFIC HURRICANE CENTER.

LOCATIONS WITHIN THE HAWAIIAN ISLANDS.

A HURRICANE WATCH CONTINUES FOR OAHU...MOLOKAI...LANAI...
KAHOOLAWE...MAUI...THE BIG ISLAND.

A HIGH SURF ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR EAST FACING SHORES OF
KAUAI...OAHU...MOLOKAI...MAUI AND THE BIG ISLAND.

AT 8 PM HST...THE CENTER OF HURRICANE LESTER WAS LOCATED NEAR
LATITUDE 19.0N...LONGITUDE 146.7W...OR ABOUT 545 MILES EAST OF
HILO HAWAII...OR ABOUT  745 MILES EAST OF HONOLULU HAWAII.
HURRICANE LESTER IS MOVING WEST-NORTHWEST AT 14 MPH. MAXIMUM
SUSTAINED WINDS ARE NEAR 125 MPH.

HURRICANE LESTER IS FORECAST TO APPROACH THE STATE FROM THE EAST
OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS. THE CURRENT CENTRAL PACIFIC
HURRICANE CENTER FORECAST TAKES LESTER TO THE NORTHEAST OF THE
BIG ISLAND EARLY SATURDAY MORNING...NORTHEAST OF MAUI COUNTY ON
SATURDAY...OAHU SATURDAY AFTERNOON...AND KAUAI SATURDAY NIGHT.
VERY LARGE AND DAMAGING SURF IS EXPECTED FOR THE EAST FACING
SHORES.

OTHER IMPACTS WILL DEPEND HIGHLY ON THE EXACT TRACK OF LESTER. ON
THE FORECAST TRACK...THE ISLANDS WILL BE ON THE SOUTHWEST
PERIPHERY OF THE HURRICANE. HOWEVER...THERE IS STILL UNCERTAINTY
ON THE FORECAST TRACK OF LESTER. ANY SHIFT OF THE TRACK CLOSER TO
