SITUATION OVERVIEW

CATEGORY 4 HURRICANE MATTHEW WILL MOVE TO THE NORTHWEST TONIGHT,
FOLLOWED BY A TURN TO THE NORTH-NORTHWEST ON FRIDAY. A TURN TO THE
NORTH IS EXPECTED ON FRIDAY NIGHT OR SATURDAY. ON THIS FORECAST
TRACK, THE CENTER OF HURRICANE MATTHEW WILL MOVE NEAR OR OVER THE
EAST CENTRAL AND NORTHEAST COASTS OF FLORIDA TONIGHT THROUGH FRIDAY
NIGHT, AND NEAR OR OVER THE COASTS OF GEORGIA AND SOUTH CAROLINA ON
SATURDAY.

POTENTIAL IMPACTS

* SURGE: MINOR COASTAL FLOODING OF 1 TO 2 FEET ABOVE NORMAL WATER
  LEVELS ARE EXPECTED IN THE MIDDLE AND UPPER KEYS TONIGHT INTO
  FRIDAY, MAINLY IN LOW-LYING AREAS AND STREETS ALONG THE NORTHERN
  SHORES OF THE MIDDLE AND UPPER KEYS.
