SITUATION OVERVIEW
------------------

AS OF 5:00 AM TUESDAY, TROPICAL STORM COLIN WAS EMERGING OVER THE
ATLANTIC OCEAN NEAR SAVANNAH, GEORGIA. THE SYSTEM WILL CONTINUE TO
ACCELERATE TO THE NORTH AND EAST AS IT PARALLELS THE COASTLINE OF THE
CAROLINAS.

WITH THE SYSTEM RAPIDLY PULLING AWAY FROM THE AREA, THE THREAT FOR
STRONG WIND GUSTS AND TORNADOES IS DIMINISHING, HOWEVER, HEAVY
RAINFALL AND FLOODING WILL REMAIN POSSIBLE AS CONSIDERABLE MOISTURE
REMAINS OVER THE CENTRAL FLORIDA PENINSULA.

ADDITIONAL RAINFALL TOTALS OF 1 TO 2 INCHES IS ANTICIPATED THROUGH THE
DAY ON TUESDAY, WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS UP TO 3 INCHES POSSIBLE IN
AREAS THAT SEE SEVERAL ROUNDS OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS.

POTENTIAL IMPACTS

* WIND:
LITTLE TO NO ADDITIONAL WIND IMPACTS EXPECTED.

* FLOODING RAIN:
ADDITIONAL RAINFALL OF 1 TO 2 INCHES IS EXPECTED AS NUMEROUS SHOWERS
AND THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOP THROUGH TUESDAY EVENING. LOCALLY HIGHER
AMOUNTS UP TO 3 INCHES ARE POSSIBLE.

* TORNADOES:
THE THREAT FOR TORNADOES HAS DIMINISHED ACROSS EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA.
