PREPARATIONS FOR THE ONSET OF TROPICAL STORM FORCE WINDS BY THIS
EVENING.

LIGHT AND VARIABLE WINDS THIS AFTERNOON SHOULD BECOME DAMAGING
EAST-SOUTHEAST AT 40 MPH AT PAGAN EARLY FRIDAY MORNING AND
TURNING TO THE WEST-NORTHWEST BY LATE MORNING. WINDS SHOULD FALL
BELOW DAMAGING LEVELS AROUND NOON. WINDS AT ALAMAGAN SHOULD BE
SOUTHEAST AT 20 MPH EARLY FRIDAY MORNING TURNING SOUTH AND
INCREASING TO 40 MPH AROUND SUNRISE. THE WIND WILL TURN TO
WEST BEFORE NOON AND FALL BELOW DAMAGING LEVELS. LIGHT NORTHEAST

SUNRISE FRIDAY...BUILDING TO 40 MPH AND SHIFTING TO THE NORTHWEST

HIGH SURF OF 13 FEET WILL OCCUR ON SOUTH AND WEST EXPOSURES ON
PAGAN...ALAMAGAN AND AGRIHAN ISLANDS DUE PRIMARILY TO THE MONSOON
FLOW. MINOR COASTAL FLOODING IS POSSIBLE. WIND WAVES PRODUCED BY
NORTHWEST WINDS COULD AFFECT WESTSIDE ANCHORAGES AFTER MIDNIGHT.

RAINFALL COULD BE 5 TO 7 INCHES OVER BOTH PAGAN AND ALAMAGAN OVER
