TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:

The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Hurricane
Danny, located over the central tropical Atlantic Ocean about 800
miles east of the Leeward Islands.

The interaction of a broad non-tropical area of low pressure
located a couple of hundred miles south of Bermuda and an
upper-level low is producing a large area of disorganized showers
and thunderstorms over the western Atlantic Ocean.  This system
is expected to move northward or north-northwestward with some
potential of tropical or subtropical development during the next
few days before environmental conditions become unfavorable.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...20 percent
* Formation chance through 5 days...low...30 percent

A tropical wave located near the Cape Verde Islands is producing
disorganized showers and thunderstorms.  Some slow development of
this system is possible during the next several days while the wave
moves quickly westward at about 25 mph over the eastern and central
tropical Atlantic.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...20 percent
* Formation chance through 5 days...medium...50 percent

Another tropical wave is expected to move off the west coast of
Africa in a day or two.  Some development of this system is
possible thereafter while it moves westward over the eastern
tropical Atlantic Ocean.

* Formation chance through 5 days...low...20 percent
