For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:

A broad low pressure system located a few hundred miles north of
Hispaniola is producing a large area of cloudiness and disorganized
shower and thunderstorm activity.  There is some potential for the
low to briefly acquire subtropical or tropical characteristics
during the next day or so while it moves northwestward to
north-northwestward. After that time, development is not expected
when the system moves north-northeastward and merges with a frontal
zone by the end of the week.  Regardless of formation, locally heavy
rainfall and possible flooding should continue across Puerto Rico
and the Dominican Republic through this morning.  For additional
information on the heavy rainfall threat, please consult products
issued by your national meteorological service.
