HURRICANE WARNINGS ISSUED FOR THE COASTAL WATERS SOUTH AND EAST OF
NANTUCKET. TROPICAL STORM WARNINGS ISSUED FOR THE OUTER RHODE
ISLAND COASTAL WATERS.

THIS LOCAL STATEMENT PROVIDES IMPORTANT INFORMATION AND
RECOMMENDED ACTIONS FOR PEOPLE AND MARINE INTERESTS IN SELECT
LOCATIONS AND COASTAL WATERS OF SOUTHERN NEW ENGLAND AND

18 MPH. STORM INTENSITY WAS 100 MPH.

YOUNG TREES AND SHRUBS MAY BE UPROOTED IF NOT SECURED PROPERLY.
SMALL TREE LIMBS MAY BE DOWNED. ISOLATED POWER OUTAGES WILL BE
POSSIBLE.

THE IMPACT FROM COMBINED STORM SURGE AND TIDE WATERS IS EXPECTED
TO BE MINIMAL. THIS COULD CHANGE SHOULD THE TRACK OF ARTHUR BE
CLOSER TO OUR AREA.
