NEAR LATITUDE 29.7N...LONGITUDE 79.1W. THIS WAS ABOUT 210 MILES
SOUTH-SOUTHEAST OF CHARLESTON SC...OR ABOUT 200 MILES SOUTHEAST
OF SAVANNAH GA. STORM MOTION WAS N OR 360 DEGREES AT 7 MPH. STORM
INTENSITY WAS 70 MPH.

.SITUATION OVERVIEW...
TROPICAL STORM ARTHUR IS FORECAST TO STRENGTHEN TO A HURRICANE
AS IT CONTINUES TO MOVE TOWARD THE NORTH TONIGHT. THE HURRICANE
WILL THEN TURN TOWARD THE NORTHEAST AND WILL PASS JUST EAST OF THE
COASTAL WATERS THURSDAY. AS A RESULT...TROPICAL STORM FORCE WINDS
ARE EXPECTED ACROSS PARTS OF THE COASTAL WATERS LATE TONIGHT AND
THURSDAY. THE HURRICANE WILL THEN ACCELERATE AWAY FROM THE REGION
THURSDAY NIGHT.

MAXIMUM SEAS ARE EXPECTED TO REACH 8 TO 10 FEET THURSDAY.

THURSDAY AFTERNOON. MAXIMUM WINDS ARE FORECAST TO BE 25 TO 30
KNOTS WITH GUSTS TO 40 KNOTS DURING THIS TIME. MAXIMUM SEAS ARE
EXPECTED TO REACH 9 TO 13 FEET. STRONGEST WINDS AND HIGHEST SEAS
ARE MOST LIKELY 40 NM TO 60 NM FROM THE COAST. CONDITIONS WILL
