SOUTHWEST OF OCEAN CITY MD...OR ABOUT 330 MILES SOUTHWEST OF
NORFOLK VA. STORM MOTION WAS NE OR 35 DEGREES AT 28 MPH. STORM
INTENSITY WAS 45 MPH.

.SITUATION OVERVIEW...
REMEMBER...DO NOT FOCUS ON THE EXACT FORECAST TRACK OF THE STORM AS
SIGNIFICANT IMPACTS CAN OCCUR WELL AWAY FROM THE CENTER.

AS TROPICAL STORM ANDREA MOVES UP THE COAST TOWARDS THE AREA...
RAIN AND WIND WILL INCREASE...ESPECIALLY THIS MORNING THROUGH
EARLY EVENING. THE MAIN FORECAST CONCERN WITH THE TRACK OF ANDREA
IS THE POTENTIAL FOR HEAVY RAINFALL AND ASSOCIATED MINOR FLOODING.

BETWEEN TWO AND THREE INCHES OF RAIN IS EXPECTED ACROSS SOUTHEAST
VIRGINIA AND NORTHEAST NORTH CAROLINA THROUGH TONIGHT...WITH
LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS POSSIBLE. A THREAT FOR ISOLATED TORNADOES
AND WATERSPOUTS IS ALSO EXPECTED LATE THIS MORNING INTO THE
AFTERNOON.

ROUGH SURF WILL CAUSE SOME MINOR BEACH EROSION ISSUES. THE ROUGH
