THE TROPICAL STORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR SONSOROL IN THE
REPUBLIC OF PALAU.

A TYPHOON WARNING MEANS THAT DAMAGING WINDS OF 39 TO 73 MPH ARE

NEAR LATITUDE 5.1 DEGREES NORTH AND LONGITUDE 141.0 DEGREES EAST.

THIS IS ABOUT 325 MILES SOUTHEAST OF NGULU
              365 MILES SOUTH-SOUTHEAST OF YAP
              480 MILES EAST-SOUTHEAST OF KOROR PALAU AND KAYANGEL
              605 MILES EAST OF SONSOROL.

TYPHOON BOPHA IS MOVING WEST-NORTHWEST AT 12 MPH. LITTLE CHANGE
IS EXPECTED IN THIS MOVEMENT THROUGH TONIGHT. MAXIMUM SUSTAINED
WINDS ARE 130 MPH.

TYPHOON BOPHA IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE MOVING TOWARD WEST-NORTHWEST.
THE FORECAST TRACK TAKES BOPHA SOUTH OF NGULU AND ACROSS THE ISLANDS
OF THE REPUBLIC OF PALAU FROM KAYANGEL IN THE NORTH TO ANGAUR IN THE
SOUTH. THESE AREAS ARE AT GREAT RISK FOR DAMAGING WINDS. THE TYPHOON
COULD BECOME A CATEGORY 4 TYPHOON WITH SUSTAINED WINDS AS HIGH AS
150 MPH PRIOR TO REACHING THESE ISLANDS.
