...WINDS AND SEAS...
AS ISAAC APPROACHES...SUSTAINED TROPICAL STORM FORCE WINDS ARE
EXPECTED TO BEGIN LATE MONDAY NIGHT AND EARLY TUESDAY MORNING ALONG
THE COAST...BEFORE SPREADING INLAND TUESDAY. HURRICANE FORCE WINDS ARE
EXPECTED TO ARRIVE FIRST OVER THE COASTAL WATERS ON TUESDAY...BEFORE
SPREADING ACROSS A PORTION OF THE INLAND WARNING AREA TUESDAY NIGHT
INTO EARLY WEDNESDAY. HURRICANE FORCE WINDS MAY LAST FOR SEVERAL HOURS.
KEEP IN MIND THAT A SHIFT IN THE TRACK OF ISAAC WILL AFFECT THE TIMING
OF THE ONSET AND INTENSITY OF THE WINDS.

SEAS WILL BEGIN TO QUICKLY BUILD MONDAY AND MONDAY NIGHT WITH SEAS OF
20 TO 30 FEET POSSIBLE BY TUESDAY.

...STORM SURGE AND STORM TIDE...
GIVEN THE UNCERTAINTY IN THE TRACK OF THE STORM...IT IS STILL TOO
EARLY TO PINPOINT SURGE VALUES FOR SPECIFIC LOCATIONS. HOWEVER...
THERE IS THE POTENTIAL OF FLOOD INUNDATION OF 6 TO 12 FEET ABOVE
GROUND LEVEL WITHIN A PORTION OF THE WARNING AREA. THESE HIGHER
VALUES WILL OCCUR ALONG AND IMMEDIATELY TO THE EAST OF THE CENTER OF
ISAAC. THE MOST LIKELY PERIOD OF IMPACT WILL BE TUESDAY NIGHT INTO
EARLY WEDNESDAY BASED ON THE CURRENT FORECAST TRACK.

...INLAND FLOODING...
ISAAC WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 8 TO 12 INCHES...
WITH ISOLATED AMOUNTS OVER 15 INCHES POSSIBLE. THERE WILL BE AN ELEVATED
POTENTIAL FOR WIDESPREAD FLOODING AS ISAAC ADVANCES INLAND.

...COASTAL HAZARDS...
THERE WILL BE A HIGH RISK OF DEADLY RIP CURRENTS THROUGH MIDWEEK DUE
TO INCREASED WIND...SEAS...AND SWELL.
