AT 5 AM CDT...THE CENTER OF TROPICAL STORM DON WAS LOCATED NEAR
LATITUDE 23.0 NORTH...LONGITUDE 88.7 WEST. THIS WAS ABOUT 580
MILES EAST-SOUTHEAST OF BROWNSVILLE TEXAS...OR ABOUT 600 MILES
EAST-SOUTHEAST OF PORT MANSFIELD TEXAS. STORM MOTION WAS TO THE
WEST-NORTHWEST OR 300 DEGREES AT 10 MPH. STORM INTENSITY WAS 40
MPH.

.SITUATION OVERVIEW...
TROPICAL STORM DON CONTINUES TO ORGANIZE IN THE SOUTHERN GULF OF
MEXICO...AND IS EXPECTED TO TRACK TOWARDS THE TEXAS COAST THROUGH
THE NEXT 24 TO 36 HOURS. ISOLATED TO SCATTERED SHOWERS AND SOME
THUNDERSTORMS...AND TROPICAL STORM FORCE WINDS...WILL ACCOMPANY
DON AS IT EVENTUALLY MAKES LANDFALL IN SOUTH OR DEEP SOUTH TEXAS.
