THE NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER IS ISSUING ADVISORIES ON HURRICANE
IRENE...LOCATED ABOUT 5 MILES NORTH-NORTHEAST OF CAPE LOOKOUT NORTH
CAROLINA.

A WELL-DEFINED AREA OF LOW PRESSURE LOCATED ABOUT 320 MILES
SOUTH-SOUTHEAST OF BERMUDA IS PRODUCING DISORGANIZED SHOWER AND
THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY.  DEVELOPMENT IS NOT EXPECTED DUE TO
UNFAVORABLE UPPER-LEVEL WINDS.  THIS SYSTEM HAS A LOW CHANCE...
NEAR 0 PERCENT...OF BECOMING A TROPICAL CYCLONE DURING THE NEXT 48
HOURS AS IT MOVES GENERALLY TO THE NORTHWEST AT ABOUT 15 MPH.
