LATITUDE 34.1N...LONGITUDE 76.5W. THIS WAS ABOUT 220 MILES
EAST-NORTHEAST OF CHARLESTON SC. STORM MOTION WAS NNE OR
20 DEGREES AT 14 MPH. STORM INTENSITY WAS 90 MPH.

.SITUATION OVERVIEW...
CONDITIONS WILL STEADILY IMPROVE THROUGH THIS MORNING AS LARGE
AND POWERFUL HURRICANE IRENE CONTINUES TO MOVE NORTH-NORTHEAST
AWAY FROM THE SOUTH CAROLINA COAST. WINDS WILL STILL BE BREEZY
THIS MORNING OVER THE NORTHERN REGION...MAINLY FROM CHARLESTON
NORTHWARD...WITH WINDS OF 15 TO 25 MPH. CLOSER TO THE COAST FROM
ROUGHLY EDISTO BEACH NORTHWARD...GUSTS OF 25 TO 35 MPH THROUGH
THIS MORNING WILL BE POSSIBLE.
