MILES EAST OF CAPE LOOKOUT NORTH CAROLINA...AND ABOUT 40 MILES
SOUTH-SOUTHWEST OF CAPE HATTERAS NORTH CAROLINA.

COUNTIES IN NORTHEAST NORTH CAROLINA...INLAND CURRITUCK AND OUTER

CRISTOBAL IS MOVING TOWARD THE NORTHEAST NEAR 8 MPH. THIS GENERAL
MOTION IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE WITH SOME INCREASE IN FORWARD SPEED
OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS. ON THIS TRACK...CRISTOBAL WILL BE
MOVING NEAR THE NORTH CAROLINA COAST TONIGHT AND HEADING AWAY FROM
THE UNITED STATES EARLY MONDAY.

MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS ARE NEAR 45 MPH WITH HIGHER GUSTS. LITTLE
CHANGE IN STRENGTH IS FORECAST DURING THE NEXT DAY OR TWO.

TROPICAL STORM FORCE WINDS EXTEND OUTWARD UP TO 115 MILES FROM
THE CENTER...MAINLY TO THE EAST OF THE CENTER.

AN AIR FORCE RESERVE RECONNAISSANCE AIRCRAFT RECENTLY REPORTED A
MINIMUM CENTRAL PRESSURE OF 1007 MB...29.74 INCHES.

CRISTOBAL IS EXPECTED TO PRODUCE ADDITIONAL RAINFALL ACCUMULATIONS
NEAR 1 INCH ALONG THE IMMEDIATE COAST OF NORTHEASTERN NORTH
CAROLINA DURING THE NEXT 24 HOURS. ISOLATED MAXIMUM STORM TOTAL
AMOUNTS OF 4 INCHES ARE POSSIBLE IN THIS AREA.
