AND AWAY FROM SOUTHWEST FLORIDA...

.THE CENTER OF TROPICAL STORM FAY WAS LOCATED NEAR LATITUDE 29.7
NORTH...LONGITUDE 84.2 WEST OR ABOUT 50 MILES SOUTH OF
TALLAHASSEE. FAY IS MOVING WEST AT AROUND 8 MPH AND IS EXPECTED TO
CONTINUE TO MOVE WESTWARD THROUGH SUNDAY. FAY CONTINUES TO PRODUCE
MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS AROUND 50 MPH WITH HIGHER GUSTS.

AROUND 30 KNOTS WITH SUSTAINED VALUES NEAR 25 KNOTS NEAR CEDAR KEY.

ALTHOUGH THE WARNING IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT GUSTY WINDS...WITH

ALTHOUGH TROPICAL STORM FAY HAS MOVED FAR ENOUGH NORTHWEST OF THE

POSSIBILITY THROUGH EARLY SUNDAY. AREAS OF SLOP OVER AND MINOR
COASTAL FLOODING ARE EXPECTED TO CONTINUE WITH ONSHORE SOUTHWEST
FLOW LINGERING. RESIDENTS ALONG THE COAST SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR
WATER ON ROADWAYS AND HIGH SURF THROUGH EARLY SUNDAY.
THUNDERSTORMS AND HEAVY SHOWERS FROM WRAP-AROUND RAIN BANDS
ASSOCIATED WITH FAY MAY STILL PRODUCE WIND GUSTS UP TO 35 OR 40
MPH SATURDAY...AND RESIDENTS SHOULD EXERCISE CAUTION. IN
