TAKEN BY PERSONS WITHIN PARTS OF EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA.

...WATCHES/WARNINGS...THE FLOOD WARNING HAS BEEN EXTENDED FOR
SEMINOLE... ORANGE...VOLUSIA AND LAKE COUNTIES UNTIL MID AFTERNOON.

A FLOOD WATCH CONTINUES FOR ALL OF EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA THROUGH
THIS EVENING.

A TROPICAL STORM WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR ALL INLAND
COUNTIES WITHIN EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA EXCEPT OKEECHOBEE...BUT WILL
LIKELY BE CANCELED LATER THIS MORNING.

A TROPICAL STORM WARNING CONTINUES FOR VOLUSIA AND BREVARD
COUNTIES... AND THE ADJACENT ATLANTIC WATERS...BUT WILL LIKELY BE
CANCELED LATER THIS MORNING.

...STORM INFORMATION...
AT 800 AM EDT THE CENTER OF TROPICAL STORM FAY WAS LOCATED NEAR
LATITUDE 29.6 NORTH...LONGITUDE 82.4 WEST OR JUST WEST OF
GAINESVILLE FLORIDA.

FAY IS MOVING TOWARD THE WEST NEAR 6 MPH AND THIS GENERAL MOTION
IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE FOR THE NEXT DAY OR TWO. ON THE FORECAST
TRACK...THE CENTER OF FAY IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE CROSSING THE
NORTHERN FLORIDA PENINSULA TODAY...THEN MOVE NEAR OR OVER THE
COAST OF THE FLORIDA PANHANDLE TONIGHT AND SATURDAY.

CENTRAL FLORIDA. HEAVY RAIN BANDS CONTINUE TO SWEEP ACROSS LAKE
ORANGE SEMINOLE AND VOLUSIA COUNTIES. THE CENTER OF TROPICAL STORM
FAY FINALLY BEGAN TO MOVE SLOWLY WEST THIS MORNING. AS FAY
CONTINUES TOWARD THE FLORIDA PANHANDLE AND AWAY FROM EAST CENTRAL
FLORIDA TODAY...STEADY RAINS WILL GRADUALLY LESSEN. HOWEVER...THE
THREAT FOR ADDITIONAL FLOODING IS STILL HIGH AS MOST AREAS REMAIN
SATURATED FROM RECORD RAINFALL EARLIER THIS WEEK.

SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND ISOLATED STORMS WILL REDEVELOP
TODAY WITHIN THE LINGERING TROPICAL AIRMASS ON THE SOUTHERN AND
EASTERN PERIPHERY OF FAYS CIRCULATION. PERIODS OF HEAVY RAIN ARE
AGAIN EXPECTED...ESPECIALLY THIS AFTERNOON AS RAIN BANDS FORM
OVER THE GULF AND WESTERN PENINSULA AND MOVE QUICKLY NORTHEAST.
WHILE LONG LASTING HEAVY RAINFALL IS NOT AS LIKELY AS RECENT
DAYS... SEVERAL PERIODS OF TORRENTIAL RAIN CAN BE EXPECTED...WHICH
MAY LEAD TO ADDITIONAL FLOOD CONCERNS ACROSS AREAS SATURATED

EARLY TODAY. TROPICAL STORM WARNINGS WILL LIKELY BE DISCONTINUED
LATER THIS MORNING AS FAY CONTINUES TO EXIT THE REGION.
