LATITUDE 25.9 NORTH...LONGITUDE 81.7 WEST...ON THE FLORIDA COASTLINE
AT CAPE ROMANO. THIS POSITION IS ALSO ABOUT 95 MILES NORTH OF KEY
WEST.

FAY IS MOVING TOWARD THE NORTH-NORTHEAST NEAR 9 MPH...AND THIS
MOTION IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE TODAY...TAKING THE CENTER OF FAY
ACROSS THE FLORIDA PENINSULA. A DECREASE IN FORWARD SPEED AND A TURN

KEYS IF HEAVIER RAIN BANDS DEVELOP AND MOVE OVER THE ISLAND CHAIN.
LOCALIZED MINOR PONDING IN LOW LYING AREAS WILL REMAIN POSSIBLE
THROUGH THIS MORNING.

THE THREAT OF TORNADOES HAS DIMINISHED ACROSS THE KEYS AS FAY MOVES
FURTHER NORTHWARD...AND THE TORNADO WATCH FOR THE UPPER KEYS HAS BEEN
CANCELLED.

...MARINE IMPACTS...

TROPICAL STORM FORCE WINDS HAVE ENDED ACROSS THE WATERS TO THE SOUTH
AND WEST OF THE LOWER KEYS...AND A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY HAS BEEN
POSTED IN THAT AREA. TROPICAL STORM WINDS SHOULD CLEAR OUT OF THE
REMAINDER OF THE ATLANTIC AND GULF SIDE WATERS DURING THE MORNING
HOURS. SMALL CRAFT SHOULD REMAIN IN PORT UNTIL TROPICAL STORM
CONDITIONS END. ON THE ATLANTIC SIDE...SEAS BEYOND THE REEF OF 8 TO
13 FEET AND SEAS INSIDE THE REEF OF 2 TO 4 FEET WILL SLOWLY SUBSIDE
TODAY. SEAS WELL OFFSHORE ON THE GULF SIDE WILL REMAIN BETWEEN 7 AND
13 FEET THROUGH EARLY THIS MORNING...THEN SLOWLY SUBSIDE DURING THE
DAY.
