FOR THE NORTH ATLANTIC...CARIBBEAN SEA AND THE GULF OF MEXICO...

SHOWER ACTIVITY LOCATED OVER AND THE EAST OF THE BAHAMAS HAS
DIMINISHED.  THIS ACTIVITY IS ASSOCIATED WITH AN UPPER-LEVEL LOW
PRESSURE AREA AND A WEAK SURFACE TROUGH. ADDITIONAL SHOWER AND
THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY WILL LIKELY REDEVELOP LATER TODAY AND COULD
PRODUCE BRIEF PERIODS OF LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL AND GUSTY WINDS TO
PORTIONS OF THE BAHAMAS TODAY...AND ACROSS FLORIDA ON WEDNESDAY AT
THE SYSTEM MOVES SLOWLY WESTWARD DURING THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS.
PRESSURES ARE HIGH IN THE AREA AND DEVELOPMENT...IF ANY...SHOULD BE
SLOW TO OCCUR.

CLOUDINESS AND SHOWERS ASSOCIATED WITH A TROPICAL WAVE ARE SLOWLY
SPREADING WESTWARD OVER THE LESSER ANTILLES... THE VIRGIN
ISLANDS...PUERTO RICO... AND THE EASTERN CARIBBEAN SEA.  UPPER-
LEVEL WINDS ARE UNFAVORABLE FOR DEVELOPMENT.

ELSEWHERE...TROPICAL STORM FORMATION IS NOT EXPECTED THROUGH
WEDNESDAY.
