FOR THE NORTH ATLANTIC...CARIBBEAN SEA AND THE GULF OF MEXICO...

THE NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER IS ISSUING ADVISORIES ON HURRICANE
JEANNE...LOCATED ABOUT 445 MILES EAST OF GREAT ABACO ISLAND IN THE
BAHAMAS...ON HURRICANE KARL...LOCATED ABOUT 1025 MILES EAST OF THE
NORTHERN LEEWARD...AND ON TROPICAL STORM LISA...LOCATED ABOUT 1005
MILES WEST OF THE CAPE VERDE ISLANDS.

A WEAK LOW PRESSURE AREA...A PARTIAL REMNANT OF FORMER TROPICAL
DEPRESSION IVAN...IS MOVING WESTWARD ACROSS THE SOUTHERN FLORIDA
PENINSULA.  THIS SYSTEM IS PRODUCING SCATTERED SHOWERS AND A FEW
THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE SOUTHERN AND CENTRAL FLORIDA PENINSULA...THE
NORTHWESTERN BAHAMAS...AND ADJACENT WATERS. UPPER-LEVEL WINDS ARE
CURRENTLY UNFAVORABLE FOR ANY SIGNIFICANT DEVELOPMENT...BUT
CONDITIONS MAY BECOME MORE FAVORABLE IN THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS AS
THE SYSTEM MOVES INTO THE GULF OF MEXICO.

A LARGE AREA OF DISTURBED WEATHER LOCATED SEVERAL HUNDRED MILES
SOUTHWEST OF THE CAPE VERDE ISLANDS IS ASSOCIATED WITH A
WESTWARD-MOVING TROPICAL WAVE.  THIS SYSTEM HAS BECOME BETTER
ORGANIZED THIS MORNING...AND A TROPICAL DEPRESSION COULD FORM IN
THE NEXT DAY OR TWO AS IT MOVES TOWARD THE WEST-NORTHWEST.

ELSEWHERE...TROPICAL STORM FORMATION IS NOT EXPECTED THROUGH
TUESDAY.
