FOR THE NORTH ATLANTIC...CARIBBEAN SEA AND THE GULF OF MEXICO...

THE NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER IS ISSUING ADVISORIES ON EXTREMELY
DANGEROUS HURRICANE IVAN...LOCATED ABOUT 65 MILES SOUTH OF ALABAMA
COASTLINE...AND ON TROPICAL STORM JEANNE...LOCATED ABOUT 20 MILES
WEST OF ISABELA PUERTO RICO.

THE TROPICAL WAVE LOCATED ABOUT 375 MILES SOUTHWEST OF THE
CAPE VERDE ISLANDS REMAINS WELL ORGANIZED.  CONDITIONS APPEAR
FAVORABLE FOR DEVELOPMENT AND THIS SYSTEM COULD BECOME A TROPICAL
DEPRESSION OVER THE NEXT DAY OR SO AS IT MOVES TO THE WEST OR
WEST-NORTHWEST.

ELSEWHERE...TROPICAL STORM FORMATION IS NOT EXPECTED THROUGH FRIDAY.
