FOR THE NORTH ATLANTIC...CARIBBEAN SEA AND THE GULF OF MEXICO...

THE NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER IS ISSUING ADVISORIES ON EXTREMELY
DANGEROUS HURRICANE IVAN...LOCATED ABOUT 125 MILES SOUTH OF ALABAMA
COASTLINE...AND ON TROPICAL STORM JEANNE...LOCATED ABOUT 25 MILES
WEST OF SAN JUAN PUERTO RICO.

THE TROPICAL WAVE LOCATED ABOUT 325 MILES SOUTH-SOUTHWEST OF THE
CAPE VERDE ISLANDS CONTINUES TO SHOW SIGNS OF ORGANIZATION.
CONDITIONS APPEAR FAVORABLE FOR THIS SYSTEM TO BECOME A TROPICAL
DEPRESSION OVER THE NEXT DAY OR SO AS IT MOVES TO THE WEST OR
WEST-NORTHWEST.

ELSEWHERE...TROPICAL STORM FORMATION IS NOT EXPECTED THROUGH
THURSDAY.
