THE NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER IS ISSUING ADVISORIES ON EXTREMELY
DANGEROUS HURRICANE IVAN...LOCATED ABOUT 225 MILES SOUTHEAST OF THE
WESTERN TIP OF CUBA.

A WESTWARD-MOVING TROPICAL WAVE IS LOCATED ABOUT 300 MILES EAST OF
THE LESSER ANTILLES.  THIS SYSTEM IS CURRENTLY POORLY-ORGANIZED...
BUT THERE IS SOME POTENTIAL FOR DEVELOPMENT OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF
DAYS.

ELSEWHERE...TROPICAL STORM FORMATION IS NOT EXPECTED THROUGH MONDAY.
