FOR THE NORTH ATLANTIC...CARIBBEAN SEA AND THE GULF OF MEXICO...

THE NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER IS ISSUING ADVISORIES ON HURRICANE
IVAN LOCATED ABOUT 110 MILES WEST OF GRENADA IN THE WINDWARD
ISLANDS...AND ABOUT 335 MILES EAST OF BONAIRE IN THE DUTCH
NETHERLAND ANTILLES.

TROPICAL DEPRESSION FRANCES IS CENTERED OVER NORTHERN GEORGIA MOVING
SLOWLY NORTH-NORTHEASTWARD.  ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON FRANCES CAN
BE FOUND IN PUBLIC ADVISORIES ISSUED BY THE HYDROMETEOROLOGICAL
PREDICTION CENTER UNDER AWIPS HEADER TCPAT1 AND WMO HEADER WTNT31
KWNH.

A LARGE TROPICAL WAVE...ACCOMPANIED BY A SURFACE LOW PRESSURE
AREA...IS CENTERED MIDWAY BETWEEN AFRICA AND THE LESSER ANTILLES.
WHILE THIS SYSTEM IS REMAINS POORLY ORGANIZED...IT HAS THE
POTENTIAL FOR SLOW DEVELOPMENT DURING THE NEXT DAY OR TWO AS IT
MOVES WESTWARD AT 10 TO 15 MPH.

A WELL-DEFINED LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM LOCATED ABOUT 750 MILES SOUTHWEST
OF THE AZORES ISLANDS IS MOVING SLOWLY NORTHEASTWARD. UPPER-LEVEL
WINDS ARE NOT FAVORABLE FOR SIGNIFICANT DEVELOPMENT.

ELSEWHERE...TROPICAL STORM FORMATION IS NOT EXPECTED THROUGH
THURSDAY.
