NWS TPC/NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER MIAMI FL

FOR THE NORTH ATLANTIC...CARIBBEAN SEA AND THE GULF OF MEXICO...

THE NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER HAS ISSUED ITS LAST ADVISORY ON
TROPICAL DEPRESSION FRANCES...LOCATED INLAND OVER SOUTHWESTERN
GEORGIA ABOUT 30 MILES SOUTHWEST OF ALBANY.  THE NATIONAL HURRICANE
CENTER IS ISSUING ADVISORIES ON HURRICANE IVAN...LOCATED OVER THE
TROPICAL ATLANTIC OCEAN ABOUT 210 MILES SOUTHEAST OF BARBADOS.

A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM IS LOCATED ABOUT 900 MILES SOUTHWEST OF THE
AZORES.  UPPER-LEVEL WINDS ARE NOT FAVORABLE FOR TROPICAL CYCLONE
DEVELOPMENT.

A WESTWARD-MOVING TROPICAL WAVE IS LOCATED ABOUT 800 MILES SOUTHWEST
OF THE CAPE VERDE ISLANDS.  THIS SYSTEM HAS SOME POTENTIAL FOR
DEVELOPMENT OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS.

ELSEWHERE...TROPICAL STORM FORMATION IS NOT EXPECTED THROUGH
WEDNESDAY.
