FOR THE NORTH ATLANTIC...CARIBBEAN SEA AND THE GULF OF MEXICO...

THE NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER IS ISSUING ADVISORIES ON HURRICANE
FRANCES...CENTERED NEAR CAT ISLAND IN THE BAHAMAS.  THIS POSITION
IS ALSO ABOUT 330 MILES EAST-SOUTHEAST OF THE FLORIDA LOWER EAST
COAST.

THE NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER IS ALSO ISSUING ADVISORIES ON TROPICAL
DEPRESSION NINE...LOCATED ABOUT 560 MILES SOUTHWEST OF THE CAPE
VERDE ISLANDS.

A LOW PRESSURE AREA LOCATED ABOUT 1225 MILES EAST-NORTHEAST OF THE
LEEWARD ISLANDS IS MOVING WEST-NORTHWESTWARD AT 10-15 MPH. SHOWER
AND THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY IS MINIMAL AT THIS TIME...BUT THE
ENVIRONMENT MAY BECOME A LITTLE MORE FAVORABLE FOR A TROPICAL
DEPRESSION TO DEVELOP OVER THE NEXT DAY OR SO.

ELSEWHERE...TROPICAL STORM FORMATION IS NOT EXPECTED THROUGH
SATURDAY.

HEADER WTNT34 AND UNDER AWIPS HEADER MIATCPAT4. FORECAST/ADVISORIES
ON THE DEPRESSION ARE ISSUED UNDER WMO HEADER WTNT24 AND UNDER
AWIPS HEADER MIATCMAT4.
