AT 1 PM EDT...1700Z...A TROPICAL STORM WARNING WAS ISSUED FOR
SOUTHEASTERN MASSACHUSETTS FROM WOODS HOLE TO PLYMOUTH INCLUDING
MARTHAS VINEYARD AND NANTUCKET.

AT 2 PM EDT...180Z...THE CENTER OF TROPICAL STORM HERMINE WAS
LOCATED NEAR LATITUDE 37.4 NORTH...LONGITUDE  71.4 WEST OR ABOUT
275 MILES... 445 KM...SOUTH-SOUTHWEST OF NANTUCKET MASSACHUSETTS.

HERMINE IS MOVING TOWARD THE NORTH NEAR 20 MPH...31 KM/HR...AND A
TURN TOWARD THE NORTHEAST IS EXPECTED DURING THE NEXT 24 HOURS.

MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS ARE NEAR  50 MPH... 85 KM/HR...WITH HIGHER
GUSTS.  SOME WEAKENING IS FORECAST DURING THE NEXT 24 HOURS AS
HERMINE BECOMES EXTRATROPICAL.  HOWEVER...40 TO 50 MPH WINDS COULD
BRIEFLY AFFECT THE TROPICAL STORM WARNING AREA OF SOUTHEASTERN
MASSACHUSETTS TONIGHT.

TROPICAL STORM FORCE WINDS EXTEND OUTWARD UP TO 115 MILES
...185 KM...MAINLY TO THE EAST OF THE CENTER FROM THE CENTER.

THE ESTIMATED MINIMUM CENTRAL PRESSURE IS 1007 MB...29.74 INCHES.

REPEATING THE 2 PM EDT POSITION...37.4 N... 71.4 W.  MOVEMENT
TOWARD...NORTH NEAR 22 MPH.  MAXIMUM SUSTAINED
WINDS... 50 MPH.  MINIMUM CENTRAL PRESSURE...1007 MB.
