FOR THE NORTH ATLANTIC...CARIBBEAN SEA AND THE GULF OF MEXICO...

THE NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER IS ISSUING ADVISORIES ON HURRICANE
FRANCES...CENTERED ABOUT 550 MILES EAST OF THE NORTHERN LEEWARD
ISLANDS...AND ON TROPICAL STORM GASTON...WHICH IS INLAND ABOUT 40
MILES CENTERED ABOUT 40 MILES NORTHEAST OF CHARLESTON SOUTH
CAROLINA.

CLOUDINESS AND SHOWER ACTIVITY ASSOCIATED WITH A SMALL LOW PRESSURE
AREA LOCATED ABOUT 350 MILES WEST-SOUTHWEST OF BERMUDA HAVE BECOME
BETTER ORGANIZED THIS MORNING...AND THIS SYSTEM COULD BECOME A
TROPICAL DEPRESSION LATER TODAY.  IT IS EXPECTED TO MOVE WESTWARD
TO WEST-NORTHWESTWARD NEAR 10 MPH OVER THE NEXT 24 HOURS.

ELSEWHERE...TROPICAL STORM FORMATION IS NOT EXPECTED THROUGH
MONDAY.
