LOSING TROPICAL CHARACTERISTICS...

FLOOD WATCHES REMAIN IN EFFECT THROUGH MORNING FOR PARTS OF
GEORGIA...SOUTH CAROLINA...NORTH CAROLINA...THE HEAVIEST RAINS
ASSOCIATED WITH BONNIE HAVE PASSED SOUTH CAROLINA. A SWATH OF
CONVECTION WILL CONTINUE TO IMPACT THE EASTERN SEABOARD. RADAR
DATA INDICATE THAT UP 2.5 INCHES OF RAIN PER HOUR HAS FALLEN OVER
SOME PARTS OF THE NORTH CAROLINA.

AT 05 AM EDT...06Z...THE CENTER OF TROPICAL DEPRESSION BONNIE WAS
LOCATED NEAR LATITUDE 34.1 NORTH LONGITUDE 78.1 WEST OR ABOUT 100
MILES SOUTHEAST OF DURHAM NORTH CAROLINA. BONNIE HAS BEEN MOVING
NORTHWARD NEAR 30 MPH AND THIS GENERAL MOTION IS EXPECTED TO
CONTINUE INTO THE LATE MORNING. MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS ARE NEAR
30 MPH WITH HIGHER GUSTS MAINLY OVER THE OPEN WATERS EAST OF THE
LOW. MINIMUM CENTRAL PRESSURE IS 1008 MB OR 29.76 INCHES.
