...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Tennessee...
Buffalo River Near Lobelville affecting Perry County.
For the Buffalo River...including Lobelville, Flat Woods...Minor
flooding is forecast.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
Additional information is available at www.weather.gov.
The next statement will be issued Sunday morning at 700 AM CDT.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL TOMORROW EVENING...
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Buffalo River near Lobelville.
* WHEN...Until tomorrow evening.
* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Flooding begins along the river, impacting
agricultural land and adjacent properties including Dailey Loop,
Caruthers Trace Lane, Lost Creek Rd near Gilmer Bridge Rd, and
portions of the Buffalo River Country Club. Water reaches Old
State Hwy 13 south of School House Rd and is impassable, and
approaches Gilmer Bridge Rd â Lost Creek Rd.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 12:30 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 13.6 feet and rising.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
this evening to a crest of 14.5 feet just after midnight
tonight. It will then fall below flood stage early tomorrow
afternoon.
- Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
14.5 feet on 04/04/1970.
