SOUTHWESTERN WILLIAMSON AND SOUTHEASTERN HICKMAN COUNTIES THROUGH 145
AM CDT...

At 111 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Mount Pleasant, or 14 miles west of Columbia, moving northeast at 30
mph.

HAZARD...Penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Columbia, Spring Hill, Mount Pleasant, Santa Fe, Hampshire,
Williamsport, and I-65 East Of Columbia.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 65 between mile markers 44 and 49.
 Interstate 840 between mile markers 13 and 20.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
