...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN OVERTON...EAST
CENTRAL SMITH...SOUTHERN JACKSON AND NORTHERN PUTNAM COUNTIES THROUGH
900 AM CST...

At 825 AM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles southwest of Gainesboro, moving east at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Cookeville, Livingston, Gainesboro, Algood, Baxter, Granville,
Rickman, and Cummins Falls State Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
